First Day of Work at a Civilian Job

First day of work........

After transitioning from the military, it is time to start my new job as a civilian provider. Are you ready for this transition? Have you been a military provider for your entire career?

What are your fears? Are you excited? Nervous? Happy?

First day is always easy....orientation. This part is easy (kinda). Computer access, clearance, badge, infection control, tours, and so much more.

What surprised me the most today? To be honest, it was how hard it was to pick out the correct shoes to wear. Should you wear dress shoes? Flats? Good walking shoes? Well, luckily, I made the best decision and wore my working shoes with my scrubs. OMG, we did a lot of walking and I'm glad I didn't wear cute shoes today. I would have been over it!

So, overall it was a great day. Easy day! Civilian life is such a transition! For those debating about it, email me! Would love to discuss with you!
